Mercy Johnson, a renowned Nollywood Actress, shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page about her father’s passing away. Attached to the post is a video showing when the actress celebrated her dad on his 74th birthday.
Mourning her dad, she described the pain as the greatest pain of all.
Mercy has stated that even if she gets an answer as to why her dad was taken from her, she doesn’t think she would accept it.
“For the rest of my life Daddy, I will keep asking God why? I don’t think I will ever understand why he has taken you from me. And if he responds,I don’t think I will accept it.
They say love saves, but my love did not keep you here with us. The pain I feel now is the greatest pain of all.
Rest in peace, my gentle father NWO Johnson Ametuo Daniel. D.A Johnson. God clearly loves you more. That’s the only explanation that makes any sense to me.”
Her husband, colleagues, well-wishers and sympathizers has taken to the comments section to console her.
