Jay Z’s Mum Marries Her Lesbian Partner. Jay Z’s mother, Gloria Carter, reportedly married her longtime lover, Roxanne Wilshire in Tribeca, new York City, on Sunday night.
According to reports, the wedding was attended by Carter’s family and friends, including her son Jay Z and his wife, Beyonce.
The wedding receptions didn’t come to an end until around 1 am on Sunday night. Jay Z has been supportive of his mom since of Gloria, who came out as lesbian in his 2017 track.
“Mama had four kids, but she’s lesbian/had to pretend so long that she’s a thespian/had to hide in the closet, so she meditates/society shame and the pain was too much to take” he rapped.”
Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Robin Roberts, Tina Knoes-Lawson, attended the star-studded wedding.
As the ceremony came to a close, the newly married couple were seen exiting the party. Gloria wore a white suit, and Roxanne in a stunning gold and white shimmery dress.
