I Go Dye Urges President Buhari To Ensure Free and Fair Elections

Nigerian comedian Francis Agoda, popularly known as I Go, Dye, has written an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari before the 2023 election. In the letter, the comedian urged the President not to allow anyone to use him to sabotage the electoral process.

I Go Dye implored President Buhari to pass on a good name to his descendants by ensuring a fair election. He noted that the greatest gift Buhari can pass on as his tenure ends is to provide a free and fair election.

The comedian reminded the presidency that the people have chosen to bear the burden of the cash scarcity, hoping for a free and fair election. He begged the President to ensure that he passes a good name to his descendants by providing that the election is free and fair.

In the letter, I Go Dye encouraged Nigerians and the youths to come out and vote peacefully, taking their destiny into their own hands. He believes that everyone can make a difference and sow a seed of progress for a better future as a nation.

He also highlighted most Nigerians’ difficulties in accessing their hard-earned funds. According to him, 70% of Nigerians are artisans who live on daily micro-transactions. The hardship, he noted, is really on the masses, not the political class.

As a citizen of Nigeria and a goodwill ambassador for the fight against corruption, I Go Dye wrote the letter to remind the President that he was voted in 2015 as a man of repute by the majority of Nigerians and that he owes them a deep sense of responsibility in ensuring that the upcoming election is free and fair.

He also pointed out that President Buhari is the only General left in Nigeria’s democratic system, which was part of and active in the civil war. He believes nature has allowed him to unite the country and lead a new path to greatness by establishing that voters are not induced or intimidated.

In conclusion, I Go, Dye encouraged President Buhari to ensure that the election was free and fair and to pass on a good name to his descendants by doing so. He also urged Nigerians and the youths to take their destiny into their own hands and come out to vote peacefully.
