Guinness World Records (GWR) Give reasons why they have yet to respond after Hilda broke the record for cooking for the longest hours.
Hilda Bassey Effiong is a young Nigerian chef from Akwa Ibom state. She owns a food brand in Lagos called “My Food by Hilda”.
Lata Tondon, from India, holds the current record for the World’s longest cooking hour. Hilda Baci, in an attempt to surpass the record, exceeds 73 attempts in just 4-days

Baci, who is on a mission to cook different kinds of dishes within a given time to get recognised by the Guinness World Records, has just completed the task.
It’s been reigning congratulations as the young chef pulled this great feat. This is incomplete cause the @GWR hasn’t officially announced Hilda’s success.
However, concerned citizens have questioned why the Guinness World Records has not yet released any statement.
Reacting to their silence, a tweep, @AlexanderDGreat, asked:
“Why is @GWR not showing or talking about Hilda’s cook-a-ton? Can’t see anything on their page(Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)”
In response to the question, the @GWR assured the tweep:
“We’re aware of this amazing record attempt; we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record💫” They tweeted.
