BBNaija Doyin has advised ladies not to get married without having 5 to 10 million naira in their account. Reality Show Star Doyinsola David has said that ladies should have up to N5-10M in their bank accounts before marriage.
She said this while answering a question from her colleague, Chizzy, who was a guest on her podcast, Doyin’s Corner.
Chizzy asked: “How much do you think a lady should have in her bank account before getting married?”
Doyin responded: “I think a lot of people are going to find it ridiculous. But I think you should have between N5-10M.”
She added that “Love is not enough at the end. Money is very very important.”
Chizzy further pointed out that ” People shouldn’t get married if they are financially disadvantaged.
“No matter how we want to paint it, you meed money in marriage. Very important.
“If you don’t have money, don’t get married. Let me put it out there. Quote me anywhere. If you don’t have money, don’t get married. Please, leave that girl alone. She should go and find someone that has money that can take care of her.” He said.
While some fans agree with their claims, others think it’s a ridiculous expectations.
