Fuel Subsidy Removal: Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Federal Government Representatives (FG) meet again to resume discussion on the effects of Fuel Subsidy Removal on Nigerians. Two weeks ago, the NLC and TUC called off the planned strike after meeting with the FG Representatives, including the Former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The meeting was then adjourned till June 19, 2023, to continue while the planned strike was put on hold. The leader of the NLC and TUC were at the Presidential villa today to resume the discussions to mitigate the effects associated with the removal of fuel subsidy.
